What is the British Curriculum?
The British Curriculum, also known as the National Curriculum for England, is a structured educational framework used in England and internationally. It is divided into Key Stages, with clear learning objectives and assessments at each stage.
What Key Stages does Paisley Studio offer?
We currently offer Key Stage 2 (Years 3-6), Key Stage 3 (Years 7-9), Key Stage 4 (Years 10-11) leading to IGCSE examinations, and Key Stage 5 (Years 12-13) leading to A-Level examinations.
How do online classes work?
Classes are conducted live via video conferencing with qualified tutors. Students receive class notes, assignments, and marked work. All you need is a computer, internet connection, camera, and microphone.
What is Key Stage 5?
Key Stage 5 covers Years 12-13 (ages 16-18) and prepares students for Cambridge International A-Level examinations. It's a two-year programme of advanced study designed for university entrance.
What subjects are available?
Core subjects include English, Mathematics, Science, and Computing. At KS4, students can choose from additional options including History, Geography, Modern Foreign Languages, and the Arts.
